After a few months of development, testing and building security measures, we've released an automatic password recovery system. We made sure to make this system as safe as possible to prevent account theft, but also accessible so real account owners can recover their accounts.

6b6t was updated to 1.21.11. We're actively working on the server so expect new updates quite soon.

Summary: Mojang is banning more anarchy servers. We made sure 6b6t is safe.

What we have added:

🟢 New lobby is live. Massive thanks to players: Volizray, beast_machine, Zuro_2, SAVAGE740, DRens69 and Professorbok for collaborating together and building it. Unfortunately this lobby was supposed to release a few months ago, so we also prepared a brand new command for it: /ski. There are special models of the skis for the players with the @Elite rank and a different model for the @Legend rank.

What we have changed or fixed:

⁨⁨🟡 Fixed a bug where players respawned in the end dimension. ⁨⁨🟡 Fixed unplanned changes to the anti illegals. ⁨⁨🟡 Fixed unplanned changes to the PvP meta and anticheat.

⁨⁨🔴⁩⁩ The DDoS protection behind the connection address alt3.6b6t.org has expired and it will reset in a few days since it's on a free plan. The addresses play.6b6t.org, alt.6b6t.org and al2.6b6t.org will always be available.

What we have changed or fixed:

⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Rewrote the server software from manual tooling to officially supported fork tooling from Paper. This helps us iterate more quickly on the software. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Rebranded our software from MultiAbomination to Fox and renamed our Velocity fork to FasterVelocity. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Removed a secondary proxy in the chain between the main proxy and the Minecraft server. This reduces ping, saves the server some memory & CPU and also fixed dimension switching kicking you from the server into the backup server. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Rewrote our custom TCP channel system to gRPC with Protobuf over HTTP/2. This allows us to make safe changes to our internal protocol more easily & prepares us for rewriting our coordination engine in Rust, it also unlocks greater performance thanks to Multiplexing. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Fixed the portal in the lobby sending you to the backup server before sending you to the main server. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Fixed proxy sending you to lobby when the proxy restarts. Now it will immediately reconnect you to your last connected server. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Rewrote our internal protocol to send full regions and server data instead of smaller chunks. This allows us to remove a lot of overhead from our coordination engine. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Rewrote how the proxy communicates with our coordination engine to fix that a proxy restart triggers a coordination engine restart and vice versa. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Heavily improved server restart speed by fixing common blockers in the shutdown sequence. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Subservers now restart individually instead of together. So for example is overworld crashes, only overworld players are send to backup server, nether/end players stay connected to their server. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Split out our coordination engine from Minecraft server code into a standalone app with barely any dependencies. This will allow us to very easily rewrite it in Rust. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Rewrote our coordination engine in Rust to unlock greater performance and reduce memory usage. ⁨⁨🟡⁩⁩ Next plans: 1.21.11, testing framework for our server software to spot trivial issues before they go live, reimplement overworld being separated into multiple subservers (which will be required for 1k+ players).

In summary, we're doing some necessary changes behind the scenes which will make 1.21.11 update possible and 6b6t will be able to support many more players without lag.
